Description: Awarding of a $50.00 prize by Robin Hood company representative Mr. W.R. Tweddell (on the right), to fourteen-year-old artist Claude Picard (on the left), son of Mr. and Mrs. Vital B Picard from Edmundston, who placed third in a drawing competition open to all young Canadians under the age of sixteen. Participants had to submit a personal reproduction of the “Hunter Robin Hood” and include a Robin Hood box as proof of purchase. Behind the young winner, Gerald Blouin (left), another Robin Hood company representative, presents a check to Mr. Jos. Michaud, the merchant who sold the box of oatmeal to the winner. By this time, Claude Picard had already distinguished himself several times for his remarkable artistic talents.
